Dan Ward/Moth

Dan started sailing Cadets at a small lake called Frensham Ponds. From there he moved into Lasers where he ended up campaigning full time to go to the 2008 Olympics. During this time he also studied to be a Naval Architect at Southampton University. From Lasers Dan moved to Musto Skiffs in order to test himself by learning to Trapeze and use asymmetric kites. As the Moth class turned into foiling boats and the boat quality improved he then switched over and now get to utilise both his engineering and racing skills in the fastest racing dinghy monohull.
