Alex started sailing his Topper aged just 9 years old. By 11 he was a member of the RYA Scottish Squad and now aged 14 he has been selected to join the RYA National Junior Squad 2010. In 2009 he won the Scottish Zone Championships and the 50th Anniversary of the Brown Cup (Scottish Schools Championships). Alex has always shown great promise and consistently ups his game at each event. Alex has now moved onto the Laser Radial and is hoping to get a place in one of the national squads. He has only been sailing the Laser since November and is already showing that he can up his game even more from the toppers.
