Eleven J/105s lined up in Torbay last weekend for the 2009 J-Cup, making it the second largest class in the 63 yachts competing.
A brisk South-Westerly breeze was a bit more than expected, and the 105s revelled in perfectly suited conditions. Battling tough opposition, choppy waters and gusts exceeding 30 knots, Gill sponsored Team JAVA prevailed and secured the 2009 title with 6 wins overall.
