J-105 Team JAVA sign up to the Gill Race Team

JAVA is a J-105 owned by Rob Dornton-Duff. The original purpose was to compete in double handed offshore races, however, after a reasonably high level of success with inshore racing and with a last minute scratch crew, the focus changed tack to putting a serious inshore campaign together.
The first season of focused inshore racing saw JAVA achieving third place in the Warsash Spring Series and then with the commitment and dedication of the crew, JAVA moved on to win their first J-105 National Championships.
The boat and the crew are now more focused and more committed than ever before to defend the title of National Champions and become the first J-105 to win the title for two consecutive years.
JAVA firmly believes that the Gill race apparel will bring the crew closer together by means of identity and cohesion and that the gear will allow individuals and the team to perform to the absolute maximum.
